Summer Nights At Printania Garden
We all love Beirut nights, but when the weather becomes unbearably hot, a mountain escape is a no brainer. Last weekend we decided to try out the recently talked about Printania Garden in Broummana, in particular Milana restaurant for my Italian food soft spot.
The entire street was literally jam packed with cars heading to this destination, and you can hear the music blasting while walking towards the garden.
We started with the fried potato wedges, typical but good nonetheless.
Next the Four Cheese and the Genovese pizzas, which are by far the largest I have seen, and deliciously cheesy!
The place was crowded and that didn’t help the service much, as it appeared to me the waiter wasn’t knowledgeable or perhaps new to the job. I’m not one to complain about service though, but I did want to order other items that he had no recommendation or explanation of what they are!
For desserts we decided to walk down the farthest end of the garden to reach Cinco Lounge by the pool.
Blueberry Cheesecake and Chocolate Fondant were our choice. The cheesecake is more ice cream than not and was refreshing, and the fondant wasn’t too warm although the chocolate was thick and dark.
What I loved about the garden is that the restaurants are all open towards each other so you can hop from one place to another and try any cuisine you like.
What I wore:
Top: Old Navy
Shorts: Old Navy
Shoes: Ted Baker
Bag: Le Sportsac
I recommend you head there before the summer is over, reserve beforehand as it gets crowded, you’ll get good food but not that great service!
