(Non)-Fashion Travel Tips

I’m back after my much needed escape, but I sure miss writing down my thoughts.

My vacation started off in Los Angeles and other parts of California, Las Vegas, Hawaii and New York City.

How did I style my outfits? I didn’t, and I couldn’t be happier! I have always placed my comfort ahead of fashion when traveling, which is why I am surprised when I see most ladies doing otherwise. Scrolling down social media pages, I am always shocked to find over the top travel looks, involving heels, tight clothes, stacks of accessories, makeup etc. To me, time is money, and I sure as hell won’t waste it glamming up. I leave behind fashion and appearances, I don’t let my outfit bind me, and I feel free to explore the world!

My vacation wardrobe consisted of sweatpants, t shirts, shorts, trainers and Birkenstock. I didn’t use any hair products, and certainly no makeup. I felt fresh and ready to sight see.

My advice for you dear readers is, blend in with other tourists and natives who most likely place little or no importance on appearance, release your inner carefree child and enjoy the journey!
